[rescue] ipv6 on Solaris

It appears these patches were never officially supported by Sun, hence
were not distributed by SunService. It appears these patches were made
by Sun's Internet Engineering group.

With subsequent releases of Solaris, or possibly conflicts with other
supported patches, they appear to have been pulled. I think they
were available at playground.sun.com at one time... but the directory
where they would be no longer has the files. The directory where
they apparently were is:

ftp://playground.sun.com/pub/solaris2-ipv6/

If you go to the web page http://playground.sun.com there is a link
to mail people in that group.... maybe someone there would be kind
hearted enough to e-mail you them (provided they have them archived in
an easy to get location and you reach a sympathetic person).

I also found:

http://www.cs-ipv6.lancs.ac.uk/ftp-archive/Code/Solaris/html/solaris2-ipv6.html

The form you have to fill out to download doesn't work though ....

Looks like you may have to move to Solaris 8.

Any reason why you need to stick with Solaris 7 ?

(Another idea... dangerous but ? might be if the ipv6 support packages
in Solaris 8 could be attempted to be loaded on Solaris 7.... works
the opposite way for some unsupported drivers.... but I don't know...
I don't think I'd try it... but YMMV).
