   Something to bridge 100baseT to FDDI isn't going to be cheap.  The 
best I've seen so far is a Cisco Catalyst 5000.  They're still a few 
hundred bucks these days...but that's much better than the $30,000 they 
were a couple of years ago.

   A good solution to this (and you'll be more motivated to do this once 
you see how amazing FDDI is in operation) is to put ALL of your 
important gear on FDDI...and only the unimportant stuff on Ethernet.  
Then the fact that the Ethernet interfaces are only 10Mbps will likely 
become less of an issue.
