In fact I believe the University of Manchester delivered a few Atlas's
to other Universities technically making it commercial. Also the Atlas
was developed in co-operation with Ferranti who delivered it to
commercial customers from 1962-1967.

Looking at the details, it seem that the predecessor had a programming
language that effectively simulated an equivalent to virtual memory in
1954.
