Slot 1 was Intel PII/PIII.  Socket 5 was Pentiums without split-voltage.
Socket 7 was Peniums with split-voltage (ie: MMX) and AMX K6 family
chips.  Socket 8 was Pentium-PRO.  Socket 370 was Intel PIII.

Slot A was Athlon, first generation.  Socket A is everything later in
the Athlon/Duron family.
