To keep it short, ANY toshiba CD-ROM will boot any SUN that has the 
"boot cdrom" command in rom. You do not need to change any jumpers.
NO NEC's will ever work, and the Apple CD-300 (Sony drive) will work
too, but not the CD-300+ (Matsushita drive).
