   Of course...the whole industry called them "MFM".  I was just 
pointing out that, despite popular usage, the terminology is not 
strictly correct.

   The same thing is happening with the term "broadband" today.  It's 
infuriating.

   Yes indeed, the ST238 is the RLL-certified version of the ST225.  You 
can use an ST238 as an ST225...they're still 614cyl 4hd 17sec.  My God 
why do I remember that..
