And it appears, especially from recent discussions here, that running a browser and a GUI email client may require more of a machine than server-type duties. I have 75MHz linux boxes that to DNS, NTP, backup email, and so on, but I wouldn't want to run X and netscape on them!

I've found some U30s on eBay and elsewhere. Looks like $300 or so for an entry-level config. They use SCA drives?
