[rescue] Small serial terminal

hi Bill,

you might consider the small laptops that were used by California power
company Pacific Gas and Electric that are for sale at hitechcafe. it's
a super rugged item designed to be used in the field.

they now say the don't include a power supply but when i got mine six
months ago it came with a power supply but cost 3 times as much.  they
originally had a wireless card in them but that was removed.  the
power supply that came was 12VDC with a standard DC coax connector
with center pin plus rated at 2.5A so it would be easy to get and since
it's 12V it would run fine or recharage with a car adaptor.
