Once upon a time, PC didn't refer to a specific processor/OS/level of
quality - it meant a computer designed for a single user, a computer
for one person, if you will a personal computer.

They were/are cook boxes, but huge and without affordable Ethernet
connectivity, their appeal wained as "real" Unix boxes became available
at affordable levels...

Damark.com once sold them, with a suite of office apps called "Smart
Office", IIRC...
