e: [rescue] IBM RS/6k 48P

Is this one of those boxes with the "open firmware" that Solaris
supported for the 2.5.1 powerpc release....

I worked for Sun Service in the group supporting Solaris on Intel
and Solaris on PowerPC, and as I recall the supported hardware list
was really short....  it consisted of the release version of what
IBM's "sandalfoot" prototype, and the Motorola PowerStack (this is
going completely by memory).

I've often wanted to find one of the IBM or Motorola machines that
would run solaris....

Are you sure this one will run Solaris, and if so, what were the
details on getting one of these ???
