[rescue] Exabyte 8500S - oui ou non?

OK, you sold me.  I just bought a new DLT drive off eBAY
(http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3057362707) ...
Serendipitously, the case matches the Compaq case my CD burner is in.

Now for some DLT III tapes.

PS.  The Exabyte 8500 on the Challenge seems to be fine; I just did a backup
and restore without incident.  However, I'd have to buy tapes and whatnot
for either the Exabyte or a DLT, and E.Dittman's comment about the value of
dodgy backup media convinced me that the incremental additional cost of DLT
is worth it.
