Ahh, fuse-err.

Exactly. And you don't get much use for that on the UI of a printer.

I think the 'kit' we got comprised a replacment 'thing' which was simply a 
swap out. There was no messing about with actual electronic components.

But, of course,  not something to be tried less yee know what you're doing... 
I can't honestly say that, but hey, the printer works ;)
