   A friend of mine who knows how to write OS X device drivers has 
promised to do that, but he hasn't gotten around to it yet.  I've 
gotten a card and a bunch of docs for him.  I don't pester him about it 
much because my Powerbook doesn't have a PCI slot for a FDDI interface.
