   Yeah but the name "Linux" refers, technically, to only the kernel.  
The rest of the OS...even the friggin' C libraries...are GNU.  The BSDs 
are a whole operating system, that happen to use the GNU C compiler.  
That's far from penny/pound logic, sweetcakes. ;)
