[rescue] OT: Linux and USB on Intel

   Actually I gave it away in total frustration.  I got it as an 
"upgrade" from my Indigo2, and by the end of the day the O2 was at 
someone else's house an my Indigo2 was back on my desk.  It was an 
R5K/180, and my Indigo2 R4400/250 SolidImpact (at least I think that's 
what I was running at the time) kicked its ass.

   But yes, Linux runs on lots of things.  I gave up on Alpha Linux a 
long time ago, when it took about 25 minutes to boot on a Multia (they 
hadn't figured out that not keeping things aligned properly on Alphas 
really kills performance) so I gave up on that.

   I haven't tried it on anything PPC-based yet, but I might.  I just 
don't see the point of running it on SGI hardware (no offense) 
because...well, why not just run IRIX?
