[rescue] UPS batteries, west coast

Hi folks,

I have a sickly APC SmartUPS 1400 (3U rackmount variety). The X'ed
out battery LED is on, and 3 times a day it beeps at me for a minute.
Tonight it apparently dropped current during the nightly wailing, so
I figure it's finally time to replace/repair/refurb it.

Does anyone know of a good and affordable source of replacement
batteries for this critter?

Alternately I have some relatively new batts from an older AP900,
and I have a desktop SU1400, that I could probably cannibalize if
need be. Do either of these models use the same battery packs?

The upside is this flicker gave me the opportunity to hang my
SureStore DLT30 on the machine and back it up for the first time in
far too long. Hope the system hangs in there long enough to fill
up a tape or two :)

Thanks,
Rob
