Does this mean I can't boot from CD-ROM ? I'm trying Debian Linux
(first). Am downloading NetBSD now, but no point in burning a CD
if I can't boot from it.

ok SPARCstation 1+, No keyboard.
ROM Rev. 1.3, 32 MB memory installed, Serial #49531.
Ethernet address 8:0:20:a:1:f, Host ID: 5300c17b.

probe-scsi (--) show attached SCSI devices
ok probe-scsi

Unit 0 Removable Read Only device .TOSHIBA CD-ROM

ok

ok boot sd(0,6,0) /boot/cd.b
Booting from: sd(0,6,0)/boot/cd.b

Bad magic number in disk label!
The file just loaded does not appear to be executable.
