Yeah but whatever happened to "you get what you pay for", "give them
what they need, now what they think they need", and "the best customer
is an educated customer"? They've been displaced by "make money at any
cost".
WE are the knowledgeable computer professionals...not the marketing
departments of the companies pushing this shit. Yet they ignore us,
and treat the word of the marketeers as gospel.
There's more to computing than making money.
