[rescue] Fw: Quick low-tech question

Alright, this I can accept. What I can't accept, is that I've got 2
13W3-HD15 adapters, one specifically sold as a Sun to VGA monitor converter,
and neither will sync up. I *know* my monitor (Compaq MV700) will go up to
1600x1200, and syncs from 60Hz to 100Hz vertical, and the fbinfo script
correctly identifies the FB as a CG6 1152x900x76, monitor type 4.

I'm running 1152x864x75Hz vertical at the moment off my PC... I wonder why I
can't get the monitor to sync up and run off the CG6?

I plugged in a ubiquitous IPC I had sitting around with the same results....
