[rescue] AS400

I have a As400-510 which has a OS loaded and it boots as well as all of the
software that comes with the machine. One of the I/O cards is out, so disk
storage is limited to one bank of hard drives. That is not important as I
have a 300 lb disk array for it. It does take 220v power so I will have to
go to University and ask to have them put in the 220v. I was hoping to have
a good story to tell when they ask me, what are you going to do with
it....................

Perhaps even cooler yet is a smaller AS400, about the size of a pc server. I
have not checked but I think that it takes 110v. Kind of a "pocket
battleship".

Actually I am not sure of what I am going to do with any of this, but I do
lurk on this list and instinctively knew I should rescue it.
