I destroyed a couple of hard drives by over heating them in a 486.  Who would
have thought that a cheapo 486sx machine wasn't made to hold several new, 
large IDE drives?

The waranty covered those.

More recently, I tripped on a dog while carrying a Apple monitor, and dropped
it.
