Yes the Hitlerjugend - many of the berlin resident jugend
teenage boys died in the russian attack on Berlin.

It was from the beginning really a way of creating a supply
of soldiers and party people (including Waffen SS)

Baden-Powell's scouts was in cahots with the British army too.

The soviets and their client states had there own pioneer corps.
