How do you think M$ lived past Win3.1?

I'm not even saying they will get rid of PCs. I'm saying they won't
get rid of M$. I know suits like to hear thing from Gartner. But I
also know that it will be *VERY* hard to build up enough momentum to
overcome the tremendous investment in M$ even w/ FREE software like
FreeBSD or Linux or Apache.

His comparison, not mine. Its his app. His hardware $$$. Also
$1.5k for a *LOADED* (2gb ram, 4x150/1mb) DM is a lot better than
$15k for a e450.

Yes, and then look at the comparison between the P4 and the Athlon.
It's going back to the 486 days when AMD TROUNCED intel in
performance and picked up their slack. AMD's high end 486s far
outsold the DX4. (I wish I had numbers on this one but this is from
memory)

He is and its nice as he gets most of the stuff he needs through me
and I get a cut. I just wish I had his $$$ for my own hardware.
