  HIPPI interfaces are going to be expensive...but for most high-end
stuff, you get what you pay for.  Essential Communications makes a PCI
HIPPI interface.  I wouldn't be surprised if NetApp had HIPPI support,
actually.

  FC-AL is very nice.  Sometimes cheap deals can be found on eBay.
