Maybe I find it distracting... I guess I don't do any REAL work :-). I
find one big CRT to be enough. When CRT's get smaller I do things Windows
style... maximize and flip around via the taskbar/dock. When screens are
large I just arrange and resize my windows to taste. I don't mind
overlapping Windows. I'm also quite a mouser, so it doesn't bother me.
I always have one hand on the mouse and one on the keyboard, unless I need
to do a lot of typing. I'd rather have 3 21" connected to 3 wonderful
machines. I still don't like LCD's... they look flimsy and cost way too
much for the acceptable ones (22" Cinema). I fell in love with big CRT's
while playing on the Indigo 2's in college (r10K upgrades).

There are, of course, thousands of people who claim to be sys admins who
have the single "skill" of working it out from a gui tool. Ask these people
to move 500 users accounts or 300 virtual hosts from one machine to another
and they are as useful as chocolate firemen. -- Anonymous Coward on Slashdot
