Probably either a PCI SPARC/Solaris machine (with a dual channel HVD cards
and Solstice Disksuite) or a PCI Intel N440BX dual P3-500 running FreeBSD.
I know the software RAID options, but I'm looking for a hardware raid card
if one exists.

If there was a way to cut the HVD part out of the RSM tray, I'd love it.
Maybe someone will say "ummm, you can by doing..." and my problem will be
solved. :) Or if I could find a RSM controller on the west coast, I'd
consider it (already shipping five RSM trays across the country though).
