You should probably touch base with your Sun sales rep or call
800-SUN-0404 (in the US) for sales details on their products. However, you
can get some information from http://store.sun.com/ ...

I put "X5240A" in to the search box on store.sun.com and it gave me this
page result:

http://store.sun.com/catalog/doc/BrowsePage.jhtml?catid=36779

It is a 1.6" high drive, which is NOT compatible with the Ultra 1. You
need 1" high drives in the Ultra 1. The 1" analogue to X5240A is X5250A,
but I can't tell if "barrier plate" is the same as a spud bracket.

Sun does not manufacture hard drives. They are likely to be OEMed IBM,
Seagate, or Fujitsu disks with a Sun label on them.

Any 1" high SCSI hard drive with SCA connector and the appropriate SPUD
bracket. I've got various IBM, Seagate, and Fujitsu disks here that have
worked. Search store.sun.com for "ultra 1 disk" and you'll find several
options. Your Sun sales rep will probably have a list if that isn't
sufficient.

You may wish to direct this sort of inquiry to sunhelp, rather than
rescue. However, as it's primarily a sales type inquiry, probably going
directly to your Sun rep or VAR would be the most productive option.

Good luck!
