I had a fairly easy time of it with a 3/80. Basically, scrape the epoxy
off the bottom end of the chip opposite pin 1. Expose the two wires, and
solder the battery leads onto those. Just take your time and it'll work
OK. You'll have to follow the link that Eric mentions (or another one)
to find the polarity. I don't remember offhand.
