Can't you use the Sun as a font server? Note that the F3 scalable fonts in
Solaris 8 aren't usable with anything else but Suns (please correct me if
I'm wrong). Use the F3 bitmaps from an older version of Solaris instead.
2.6 works for me with my IBM 8361-100.
