Have you read any of John Taylor Gatto's books? I recently read
"Dumbing us Down". It's a collection of his speeches and essays, and i
found it to be an excellent read. It's heavy on the criticism of the
american school system, and also offers a little bit of history. I
intend to read some of his other books when i have the time.
