Actually Debian could probably be called a GNU distribution. apt et al
come on top (bottom?) and all that stuff in the big honking package
databases. Debian GNU/Linux just happens to include the Linux kernel.
Debian NetBSD doesn't even replace most of the userland (yeah, the
miniroot idea again). Then there's also HURD..
