  According to the stereotype, fried chicken is supposed to be a
"black peoples'" food, just like the "all black people like
watermelon" bullshit.

  I have a sizeable collection of Betty Boop cartoons...love 'em...but
every time there's a black cartoon figure in a scene, he or she is
drawn in a very 1940's "stereotypical" fashion...with enlarged lips,
always munching on a slice of watermelon.
