right, blocksize determines the pitch, the smaller the blocksize, the 
squeaker the fart.  i.e.

# dd if=/dev/ass of=./fart conv=notrunc bs=512 
produces a much more Brian-like fart than
# dd if=/dev/ass of=./fart conv=notrunc bs=2048
which is a more Dave-like blast.
