Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but how about adding
a VSIMM to enable the onboard SX framebuffer in the
SS20? There's more information in the framebuffer FAQ
at sunhelp.org, but you can get either a 4MB or 8MB
VSIMM, with the 8MB allowing higher resolutions at 24bit..
