[rescue] Difference between OEM and Retail

I'm in the market for an Adaptec 29610.  Did some digging, found a good
price and called the company.*

An Adaptec SCSI Controller 29160 is

$178 OEM w/out cables
$215 OEM with cables 
$265 for Retail

Questioned the guy about the diff between OEM and retail.  Warranty, support
are the same.  Are they really charging $50 for packaging?  What is he
leaving out?
