I think you'll find that, should you try to download Solaris 8, the
license terms for Solaris 8 also reflect Sun's new policy to not license
free Solaris binaries on machines with more than one CPU.  So, if you're
going to be in noncompliance either way, run the better OS (8 or 9,
depending on your taste--I like 9).
