Just how many of us have clamp-on ammeters at home?  :-)  Heck, I've
only got a good VTVM, not even a DMM at this point (looking though), and
I take lots of stuff apart.  I'm sure there are some rescuers here who
probably don't even need a multimeter, they just toss it if it dies.
