Ouch!  I've never seen a Cray computer....but just for curiosity sake...how
much does your electric bill run?

  This was Laurel, Maryland, by the way...the place I just moved out
of.

  But noise...heh, have you ever been in the same room with a running
Cray J90?  When I turned on the window unit (a big one...18,000 BTU)
you couldn't hear it at all.  Who actually *works* in the computer
room anyway, except for maintenance?  Computer rooms are for
*computers*.  I have an office.

  For a big computer room, you *need* an additional a/c unit.  Central
air just won't cut it, unless it's multi-zone and one of the zones is
your computer room.  Picture an 8KW heater running in one
room...that's what we're talking about here.
