My understanding is that the 12 bay would do HH, if you left the next bay
empty.

Where can you get 711s for anywhere near $125?

I'd be interested in a stripped unit.  It seems to me that an AT power supply
should be easy enough to hook up to the backplanes, unless there is 
additional intelligence that I don't know about.  The drives should only need
a 12v and 5v power lines.
