I know I avoided the sunfreeware package because it REQUIRES the GNU
binutils and linker.  I don't know if that's true if you roll your own
gcc 3.0.x.

It took me a while to realize the dependancy, a cow-orker and I both installed
in and didn't understand why it didn't work...
