!Wow!

I was checking out some stuff at my local haunts and one of the storemen told me that I might like to have a look at some stuff that had just come in. He described it as looking like two air-conditioners - and he wasn't far wrong.

Another two V-class servers!! I've gone from never seeing one to seeing three in the last week. Of the two systems I saw today, one was a V2250 and the other one was buried too deeply to see the face plate. Sadly I wasn't able to get in and see what's inside due to the number of other boxes that surrounded the systems, but I've made an appointment to come in and find out what hardware they contain early next week.

Pics will be available as soon as I can borrow a digital camera.

On other news, I scored a complete N4000 from a corporate liquidation today. Twin 360MHz, 2GB, 2*9GB, twin FCAL, twin dual-diff SCSI, twin 100BaseT, and an E12H with 4*GB, 4*18GB, and twin 96MB cache modules. All for just under 2,500USD!! You may begin hating me now :-)

With best regards,

Gavin
