[rescue] Sparcstation 2 help! Please

thanks to all who replied,


The keyboard is my pc keyboard, connected using hyperterm, no Sun keyboard
installed. If I try and boot it with the Sun unit, it still displays on the
serial connection, It just acts different. Nither keyboard is providing
input to the system.  There is no OS on the hard drive that I know of.
Should I try a solaris 8 boot floppy?

One of the earler respondants sugguested that the NVRAM is only $10.00.
Where can I order one?

If BSD Bob is willing I might take one of those super deluxe units with the
replacable battery packs.

That's funny...do you have a keyboard plugged in?  Yank it.

Not good--could be time for a new NVRAM.

Stuck key?  Does the boot drive have an OS installed?
