[rescue] not quite the same class of rescue

So I picked up a calculator for $.50 at a garage sale. I got it because it was too big to misplace and - well, it's cool. 

It has an 8 position blue segment display under a flip up hood, an analog battery power meter, a constant switch, decimal selection, and 4 functions.

It also eats 4 c cells.

I was idly trying to figure out how old it was- it's a computex mark-V. i can't find anyhting on the web, of course. 

Anyone know exactly how old this is?
