Not likely considering their investment in PA-RISC and Itanium.  If you have
a proven and high-performance CPU with strong vendor support (like MS), it's
probably best to stick with it.

I'd see the posibility of letting Compaq handle the home and office PCs while
HP focused on PC and UNIX servers.
