Hello all,

First off, I'm very happy with my new U30 that I've
had for a couple of weeks. The only problem is that
I'm not able to use it with my Multi-Sync SVGA Monitor
with an adapter. This same combination works great with
my SS10.

I know that it has some kind of creator card, either
a Series 2 or a Series 3. Here is the ffbconfig output:
# ffbconfig -propt

--- OpenWindows Configuration for /dev/fbs/ffb0 ---
OWconfig: machine
Video Mode: 1152x900x66
Default Visual: Non-Linear Normal Visual
Visual Ordering: Linear Visuals are last
                 Overlay Visuals are last
OpenGL Visual Expansion: enabled
Server Overlay Visuals: enabled
Allocated WIDs: 32

# ffbconfig -prconf

--- Hardware Configuration for /dev/fbs/ffb0 ---
Type: single-buffered FFB2
Board: rev 1 (Vertical)
PROM Information: @(#)ffb2.fth 2.3 97/02/07
FBC: version 0x2241906d
DAC: Brooktree 9068, version 4 (Pac1)
3DRAM: Mitsubishi 1309, version 3
EDID Data: Not Available
Monitor Sense ID: 7 (Unknown monitor type, defaulting to Sun 19" monitor)
Monitor possible resolution: 1152x900x66
Current resolution setting: 1152x900x66

I've tried every combination of resolutions supported to no avail.
Has anyone ever hooked one of these up to a peecee monitor? I don't
see why it doesn't work, I'm beginning to suspect the frame buffer is
malfunctioning. Any pointers appreciated.

Thanx,

Eric
