[rescue] AUI to Ethernet

Haven't tried that yet, but I have found that you can take any type of
cable and plug it into two ports on the same switch and it generates
link.  (Did it just for kicks to see what would happen).  
If I find someone with another one of these switches, I'll have to try
that.  	
	I think that it will probably (based on single switch
operation) work just fine.  I'm just guessing, but I think that the switch
first checks connectivity on all the pairs, and then enables the ones that
it needs to get either a crossover or normal cable to work based on what's
responding.  Since the switches are made to handle up to 8 identical
switches and create a larger fabric, I'm sure that they set up some type
of handling for this type of situation.
