Y'know - I've never had any problems with any media.  But then I'm
burning at 2X with one of the old HP 7200's on my SUSE box.

My favorite are the generic "white-label" Verbatums that I get at
SAM's.  Most people hork on them but I use nothing but for my data.

Far audio I usually get Ricoh or Kodak with silver media.  Those seem
to be recognized better by CD players and look better when labeled.
