...although the lpvi driver will function under 32-bit Solaris 8 if you
copy it over.  NeWSprint will not, but Ghostscript has support for the
SparcPrinter and will work with the driver.

I still have a SparcPrinter hooked to a SS20 running Solaris 8 and
NeWSprint.  Works beautifully.
