My first was a Litton 1251 with 400K of Drum memory. It consisted of 5
cabinets 2' X 3' in size, a CPU, Drum, Drum, paper tape IO and printer. It
took up half the living room. I bought it from the State of Oregon in 1980
for $25. Was much fun to play with.
Paul Pierce has a Litton 1231 for his museum. He just beat me out of the
local community college's IBM 1130 a few years later.
My second was a Xerox 820-II and then a DEC Rainbow.
