Geez - I can't find an SS/20 anywhere for 'ol Bill... Where did they go?

I thought I had recently seen these for like $75-100/each somehwere...

Could they be used as trade-ins for Sun Blade 100's?

Hmmm....

But I did spot a decent deal, for those with patience: An SS/5 w/64 Meg RAM
and TGX Framebuffer and 4 Gig HD for $290.

The RAM is worth somewhere between $35 and $70 (if 8x 8 Meg or 2x 32 Meg).

The HD Tray is worth $25.

The HD is another $25-40.

The Framebuffer is worth $25-50.

So let's call all the misc. bits worth $150, so the bare SS/5 170 is costing
you $140 + S/H.

That's a lot of computing for a few hundred dollars...

He is claiming they are Mfg. refurbs, but I doubt that...

Ken
(who *really* doesn't need an SS/5 170...)
